Calendar Girls

A heart-warming comedy inspired by the true story of a group of brave women who bare all for charity and in doing so, gain international notoriety. When Annie’s (Julie Walters) husband is diagnosed with cancer, Chris Harper (Helen Mirren) and the other ordinary members of the Women's Institute - a prim and proper ladies' club in Yorkshire - decide they need to find a more compelling way to fundraise. Stunning the community, they turn their traditional annual calendar on its head and decide to give this year’s edition a very untraditional twist, depicting the middle-aged women of their village as nude models.
